Operation & Compliance Policy

POLICY NUMBER: OP-NV-XANGO-001
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 1, 2026
ISSUING DEPARTMENT: Operations & Compliance

1. Purpose

This policy defines standard operating procedures for creating, labeling, and selling Xangó-related products in Nevada. It ensures strict separation between spiritual items and non-spiritual, commercial goods to comply with state consumer protection laws.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all manufacturing, online sales platforms, and physical retail store operations. It covers candles, oils, soaps, rosaries, jewelry, statues, laser-printed items, 3D-printed items, and personalized goods.

3. Product Classification Matrix

Product Category

Apothecary (Candles, Oils, Soaps)

Spiritual Definition [SP]

Consecrated, ritual-ready, or infused with specific spiritual intents.

Non-Spiritual Definition [NS]

Strictly cosmetic or decorative with standard scent profiles.

Product Category

Adornments (Rosaries, Jewelry)

Spiritual Definition [SP]

Blessed items meant for spiritual protection, prayer, or devotion.

Non-Spiritual Definition [NS]

Fashion accessories using Xangó aesthetics or color patterns.

Product Category

Fabrication (Statues, 3D/Laser Printing)

Spiritual Definition [SP]

Altar-ready icons crafted following traditional sacred geometry.

Non-Spiritual Definition [NS]

Decorative art pieces, customizable keychains, or unblessed displays.

Product Category

Personalized Goods

Spiritual Definition [SP]

Custom-tailored to an individual’s spiritual readings or specific requests.

Non-Spiritual Definition [NS]

Standard custom text (e.g., names, dates) engraved on commercial items.

4. Manufacturing & Production Controls

  • Space Segregation: Consecration rituals for [SP] items must take place in an isolated spiritual workspace.
  • Equipment Protocol: Laser printers and 3D printers must be thoroughly cleaned of residue before switching between product lines.
  • Material Integrity: Skin-safe, FDA-approved ingredients must be used for all soaps and oils.
  • Testing: All hand-poured candles must pass standard burn testing before inventory release.

5. Multi-Channel Sales & Labeling Compliance

To comply with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 598 (Deceptive Trade Practices), product listings must clearly communicate intent.

Physical Retail Store Operations

  • Shelving: [SP] and [NS] items must reside on clearly designated, separate shelves or display cases.
  • Signage: Displays for spiritual items must feature a visible sign reading: "Spiritual items are sold as curios only."
  • Point of Sale: Receipts must dynamically print the corresponding [SP] or [NS] prefix next to the item name.

Online E-Commerce Operations

  • Product Pages: Every digital listing must prominently display its classification code ([SP] or [NS]) in the title or first line of description.
  • Spiritual Disclaimers: All online [SP] items must include the mandatory footer text: "Results are not guaranteed. Sold for entertainment and spiritual curio purposes only."
  • Metadata Tagging: Items must be tagged correctly in the backend inventory system to prevent cross-categorization in search filters.

6. Personalization & Custom Order Workflow

  1. Intake Form: Customers ordering custom laser-printed, 3D-printed, or handmade goods must check a box selecting either "Spiritual/Ritual Use" or "Decorative/Fashion Use."
  2. Order Routing: Orders marked for spiritual use are automatically assigned the [SP] prefix and routed to the consecrated studio workspace.
  3. Final Quality Log: The crafting artisan must sign off on the batch log, verifying that the physical item matches the customer's selected intent category before packaging.
